Had I unlocked the phone while still in the US maybe it would have been quicker. Probably due to my special circumstances. It took a little extra time for the unlock to happen. Understandable, but I was rushed and blindsided by the need for a second transaction, but that was probably my fault. You pay upfront first for them to do a check on the IMEI, then a second transaction to actually unlock. I will note that the website isn't worded very clearly.
